WildRose Flowers

Reminiscing on a beautiful workshop by Gabriela Salazar from La Musa de las Flores in Vancouver, BC

July 17, 2019

I spent few days in May assisting Gabriela Salazar from la Musa de las Flores floral workshop in Vancouver.

Before launching her floral design business, Gabriela previously worked in real estate and interior design in Mexico City and later moved to London where she studied architectural interiors. Over the last couple of years, Gabriela has trained with and worked alongside some of the very best in the floral design industry. Currently she is growing flowers in her garden, styling incredible weddings and  traveling the world with her workshops to teach students the art of flowers. You can listen to Gabriela story on her website by clicking on the image below I've attached here:

This group of beautiful women were lucky to spend two days with Gabriela learning her styling techniques and floral philosophy. I'm on the far left side if you are wondering :))

Gabriela was incredible and she showed the group how to create floral masterpieces and bouquets in her signature style.

Kim from Maru Photography captured every detail from this beautiful workshop.

I'm feeling incredibly lucky to be part of this workshop and thankful to learn from Gabi and be inspired by her calm, soft and charming personality. Her charisma is well reflected in every masterpiece she creates.
